Organized Team Approach of the MRCSA

During an emergency, Pima County will activate its Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). This plan defines how emergency personnel (fire, law enforcement, emergency medical services and hospitals) will respond to and manage the emergency. By creating an organized, well trained, credentialed and registered Medical Reserve Corps unit that is linked to Pima County's EOP, medical volunteers effectively respond to an emergency, are familiar with their community's response plan, know what materials are available for their use, know who their partners are in response, and know where their skills can be utilized to their best advantage and in a coordinated manner.
