Medical Reserve Corps

The mission of the National Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is to establish nationwide teams of local volunteer medical and public health professionals who can contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year and during times of community need.

Pima County Health Department

Focuses on the goal of protecting the health and safety of the residents of Pima County, Arizona. The Health Department will maintain and provide training for the MRCSA, and will be the only organization that can activate the MRCSA. They will also maintain the MRCSA volunteer database.

National Training

The premier learning resource for professionals who protect the public's health. A free service of the Public Health Foundation, www.train.org is part of the newly expanded TrainingFinder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network (TRAIN).

Citizen Corps

Citizen Corps, a branch of the Freedom Corps, asks you to embrace the personal responsibility to be prepared; to get training in first aid and emergency skills; and to volunteer to support local emergency responders, disaster relief, and community safety.

Citizen Corps Council

With the release of national guidelines inspired by local best practices, Operation Safe Tucson became the Tucson Citizen Corps Council, and ultimately the Citizen Corps Council for Homeland Security of Tucson Arizona.

Arizona Emergency Management

Arizona Division of Emergency Management works in conjuction with the Pima County Health Department.

Emergency Management Institute

The Emergency Management Institute offers a series of self paced Incident Command System (ICS) courses for independent study. The MRCSA recommends the completion of IS-100 and IS-700 within 90 days of joining.
